Spectroscopic factor and proton formation probability for the d3/2 proton emitter 151Lu

The quenching of the experimental spectroscopic factor for proton emission from the short-lived $d_{3/2}$ isomeric state in $^{151m}$Lu was a long-standing problem. In the present work, proton emission from this isomer has been reinvestigated in an experiment at the Accelerator Laboratory of the University of Jyv\"{a}skyl\"{a}. The proton-decay energy and half-life of this isomer were measured to be 1295(5) keV and 15.4(8) $\mu$s, respectively, in agreement with another recent study. These new experimental data can resolve the discrepancy in the spectroscopic factor calculated using the spherical WKB approximation. Abstract Average prescission Mpren and postscission Mpostn neutron multiplicities as well as average γ-ray multiplicity 〈Mγ〉, average energy 〈Eγ〉 emitted by γ-rays as a function of mass and total kinetic energy (TKE) of fission fragments were measured in proton induced reactions p+ 242 Pu→ 243 Am , p+ 238 U→ 239 Np at proton energy Ep=13, 20 and 55 MeV.
Determination of the spin of 31Ar

Abstract The beta-delayed proton emission from the lightest Ar-isotopes has been recorded with a high-granularity, large solid-angle Si-detector set-up. Proton energy shifts due to beta-recoil have been measured. We demonstrate how this allows the spin of 31 Ar to be determined as 5/2. The method can be applied at decay rates as low as 1 s −1 .
Investigation of Gamma Rays from the36S(p,γ)37Cl Reaction

The excitation curve of the 36S(p,γ)37Cl reaction has been measured in the proton energy range 1 000-1 900 keV. 109 resonances were observed. The decay schemes for 13 resonances and energies and branching ratios of 15 bound states have been obtained by means of Ge(Li) detectors. Seven of the bound states have not been reported earlier. Lifetimes or lifetime limits of 5 bound states have been measured by means of Doppler-shift attenuation method.

Low Energy Protons at RADEF - Application to Advanced eSRAMs

A low energy proton facility has been developed at RADEF, Jyvskyl, Finland. The proton energy selection, calibration and dosimetry are described. The first experiment with external users was performed using two memory test vehicles fabricated with 28 nm technology. Examples of single event upset measurements in the test vehicles embedded SRAMs (eSRAMs) as a function of proton energy are provided.
